Tom Edwards –  Physiotherapist & Partner

tom-profileTom is a valuable asset to the Move Forward team as the Managing partner of our Butler, Currambine and Kinross Clinics. After spending some years providing physiotherapy services in the local community he is elated to continue to be a presence in our newest clinics in the northern suburbs.

He has a keen interest in an array of musculoskeletal conditions with particular interest in the ‘everyday’ injury, back and neck pain that keeps us from our hobbies and work.

He loves working with you to get you back to what you love quickly, combining manual therapy and dry needling with exercise rehabilitative strategies. His interest in sports has led him to work with the Wanneroo amateur Football, Rugby and Soccer teams. His sporting interests outside of work include Rugby, Martial arts, Soccer and Golf. On top of being a partner Tom is also the Client Relationship Officer for Move Forward Physiotherapy making sure we deliver the highest quality service possible to all of our valued patients!

Emily Ebert – Physiotherapist

emily-ebert-portraitAfter completing her Bachelor of Science (Human Biology Preclinical), Emily continued to study at Curtin University and achieved her Doctorate of Physiotherapy.Emily has always had a passion for understanding how the human body works and helping others to achieve their health and fitness goals. Emily is passionate to help people return to what they love doing, whether it be competitive sport, hobbies or work-related activities.

With a background in group fitness and personal training, Emily has an interest in all things musculoskeletal and exercise rehabilitation to help people achieve their goals. Outside of work you can find Emily at the gym, or enjoying the outdoors hiking, camping and exploring the stunning WA coast.

Archie Hall – Physiotherapist

Archie-Hall-ProfileArchie has long been involved in the local community playing NBL1 Basketball for the Joondalup Wolves and he joins the Butler clinic and Move Forward team after gaining experience in private practices in Perth.

Taking pride in his Physiotherapy career, Archie graduated from Curtin University with Honours after completing a research on shoulder pain.

As the current Physiotherapist at Peel Thunder Football club and having a background playing WAFL football, and state level basketball, Archie has a good understanding of the physical and mental challenges of returning to high level sport.

Whether it be returning to sport or normal daily activities, Archie puts a strong emphasis on tailoring his management plans to help each individual achieve their goals.

Sarah Jacobs – Physiotherapist

Sarah-Paul-ProfileSarah completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Curtin University on the Vice Chancellor’s List. She also previously completed a Bachelor of Science double majoring in Exercise Health and Sports Science at the University of Western Australia.

Originally from Darwin, Sarah competed in both middle distance running and hockey as a member of the Northern Territory Institute of Sport hockey program for four years. Sarah has represented Australia at a junior level in hockey for the Australian Schoolgirls team and previously represented the Northern Territory in the Australian Hockey League. As a result, Sarah has sustained a few injuries over the years and is passionate about treating sporting related injuries, with a particular interest in running related injuries. Sarah is also passionate about treating the everyday injury, including lower back pain and neck pain.

When not working you can find Sarah at the beach, hiking, long distance running, playing hockey, catching up with friends and eating!

Janelle Juse – Physiotherapist

Janelle-Juse-ProfileJanelle discovered the positive and lifelong impact physiotherapists can have on individuals lives after finishing her Bachelor of Exercise Science degree in the US and working in a private practice physiotherapy clinic. After 2 years of working as a physio assistant, she decided to move to Sydney to pursue her dream of becoming a physiotherapist and completed the Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at Macquarie University.

After taking the long road from LA to Sydney to Perth, she has now found her home with the Move Forward team. Janelle strives to be able to help patients reach their personal goals and overcome obstacles that are preventing them from participating in the activities they enjoy.

Outside of work, she loves spending time at the gym and exploring Perth’s beaches, eateries, and activities.

Mike Tran – Physiotherapist

michael-tran-profileMike has a passionate interest in helping people return to what they love doing best, whether competitive sport, work, or hobbies. He successfully completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University and has an interest in all things musculoskeletal and exercise rehabilitation to help you achieve your goals!

An active member of our Physio team, Mike has competed as a Hip-Hop crew member travelling to New Zealand to train and has been successful at both local and national level competitions in Australia. Through various injuries he has experienced, he understands everyone is unique and is committed to help people overcome their sporting related and everyday injuries!

Outside of work, you can find him at the beach with his Wife Nicole and Dog “Echo”, occasionally free-diving, fishing, and building projects around the house!

Sebastian Watson – Physiotherapist

sebastian-profileSeb joins our team having completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University. You may recognise Seb, as he worked in the Move Forward admin team while a student, gaining a valuable insight into private practice Physiotherapy.

He has experience in WAFL and amateur football sports training and has developed a passion for managing and preventing musculoskeletal injuries by encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle.
Whether it’s related or unrelated to sport, Seb strives to build strong relationships with his clients and enjoys helping them to return to whatever is important to them. Away from work, Seb likes playing footy, surfing and being outdoors.
